Zoned off into Quantum Physics
There's a certain theory in quantum mechanics based on the theory that particles in quantum mechanics explore all possible paths at the same time and in the end take the shortest route to the destination. Apparently some scientists take this further to come up with what they call the many worlds theory, in which it is believed that there exists an infinite number of worlds based on the outcomes of peoples decisions. It's like a gigantic matrix where data on everything in the universe is mapped according to the varying values each of the data points assumes. What happens when someone makes a decision is that they settle on a path or according to the many worlds theory, they choose a world Corresponding to the decision they have settled for. Anyways, I wrote so long I've forgotten the original point but the theory implies that the past, present and future is already mapped out and what people and generally everything in the universe does, is fleet across different universes depending on the collapse of their wave functions every time they settle for a certain decision. In other words, the person you knew a second ago may not be the same person you see now. The differences are subtle so of course they're not noticeable. You know that feeling of déjà vu when you feel like something that's happening has happened before, as if events are unfolding exactly the same way they have happened before? Yet if you try to think, it simply hasn't happened before, then where does the feeling come from? Well I have a theory that leverages the many worlds theory to explain that. Well, my theory kinda has a relationship to string theory. It suggests that all things have a certain frequency range in which they individually operate. Now, these frequencies will vary across this range according to the collapse of the wave function in every second of life. As a consequence, these frequencies are generally different across the many worlds at the same point in time. But at some points, due to pure coincidence or maybe not, the overall wave function of an individual in one world collapses in the exact same way as that of the same individual in a different world, leading to a resonance. This causes the two parallel individuals to sync their minds resulting in shared vision. This momentary resonance allows one to be able to get a glimpse of the other side. But technically you're just sharing a momentary path so it's not really getting a glimpse in the sense. Anyway, that's why you notice that every time you get a sense of deja vu, it persists until you start thinking about it and then it ends. That's because the moment you start thinking about it, differences are generated in the two frequencies, leading to the resonance being broken. What made me write all this is that yesterday I experienced deja vu, and this time, I actually saw a fraction of a second ahead. I've always wanted to do that and then act like I have the ability to calculate events of the future. Anyway, after seeing what was going to happen next, I intentionally changed the sequence and as expected, the said resonance was cut off. Of course, it might actually be that I generated that fraction of a second in my mind and is simply not what was supposed to happen. Might be that I just quickly analysed two paths and chose an unlikely one and assumed everything else. I guess there's no confirming that.
