You pray, but it feels like your words hit the ceiling. You read scripture, but your heart feels numb. You try to stay hopeful, but nothing seems to move. And in that silence, doubt starts to whisper: “Maybe God has forgotten me.” “Maybe I’m not spiritual enough.” “Maybe my dreams won’t happen.” I’ve been there. Trying to pass, trying to survive. Balancing studies, expectations, and the pressure to be “successful” — all while battling spiritual dryness. It’s the kind of heaviness that no one sees on your Instagram. But I learned something deep during that time: God's silence is not His absence. Sometimes God is quiet because He’s teaching us to walk by faith, not by feelings. Like a teacher during a test — silent, but still present. It’s during these moments that your faith muscles are built. Not when everything is going right, but when you choose to believe even when there’s no visible reason to. A Verse That Carried Me: “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” — Job 13:15 Job lost everything, but he still said, “I will trust Him.” Not because it made sense. But because God is still God — even in the storm. What I Learned in the Quiet: Faith is not about feelings — it’s about trusting the unseen. God is not rushed His timing is perfect, even when it feels late. You grow most in the dark just like seeds planted underground. Maybe you're in that silent season right now. Maybe you feel behind, unseen, or unsure of your purpose. I just want to remind you: You are not forgotten. God is still writing your story. Sometimes the most powerful testimonies are born in silence. Stay faithful. Keep praying. Keep showing up. You will look back and realize that the quiet season was not a waste it was preparation.
