Funny thing about uni: everyone’s screaming for attention like it’s going to pay the rent. Meanwhile, I’m over here learning, messing up, and occasionally actually making moves. I don’t wear headphones. I don’t need a flashy laptop sticker. I just… observe. Notice things. Code things. Hustle quietly. People assume being loud means winning. Nah. Sometimes loud is just noise. There’s power in doing the stuff no one notices: Sitting through lectures, actually listening instead of nodding for TikTok content. Building mini side hustles that won’t make the group chat explode. Debugging code nobody asked me to fix, but will pay off later. You’d be surprised how often the “quiet guy” ends up the one people rely on when things break, or when someone actually needs results, not clout points. The trick? Don’t do it for the applause. Do it because it’s yours to do. The world is too busy flexing to notice, and that’s perfect. By the time they realize, you’re already done.
